Starting from 1 July 2025, e-scooters are subject to the same requirement as cars - MTPL insurance is mandatory.

Only e-scooters registered with CSDD and holding a valid MTPL policy may participate in road traffic. This means that without registration and a policy, using a scooter in traffic
