How to file an OCTA claim with Balta

If you were involved in a traffic accident and the at-fault party is insured with Balta, you have the right to file an OCTA claim. Fill in the accident report together with the other driver and submit it to Balta within 10 days.

You can file an OCTA claim with Balta online through the Balta Online portal, by phone at +371 67533375 or in person at any Balta client center. Claims are usually reviewed within 10 to 30 days.

How to file a KASKO claim with Balta

Balta KASKO insurance covers damage to your vehicle regardless of who is at fault. You can file a KASKO claim with Balta for damage, theft, vandalism, glass cracks and other risks depending on the policy terms.

To file a KASKO claim with Balta you need the policy number, incident description, damage photos and, if required, a police protocol. Balta offers repairs at a partner service or a cash payment.

How to file a property claim with Balta

Balta property insurance protects your apartment or house against fire, flooding, storm, theft and other risks. In case of damage, contact Balta immediately and file a claim.

Before filing, photograph the damage and do not change anything until the Balta expert inspects it. Balta usually arranges an inspection within 1 to 3 working days after receiving the claim.

How to file a travel claim with Balta

Balta travel insurance covers medical expenses, lost luggage, trip cancellation and other risks abroad. If you need help while travelling, call the assistance number listed in your policy.

After returning, submit all medical receipts, invoices and doctor's certificate to Balta. You can file a travel claim online or by email. Claims are usually reviewed within 10 to 15 working days.
